Being new to the area, I found South Park Animal Hospital after reading through many online reviews when my dog developed an ear infection. Choosing a new vet can be stressful, but from the moment we walked in, the staff was incredibly welcoming and kind, which immediately made the experience feel more comfortable. The hospital itself is very clean, well organized, and has a calm, inviting environment. It feels like a place where both pets and their owners are genuinely cared for. The vet took time to explain everything clearly, which I really appreciated as a new client. There was a bit of a wait for the prescription after the vet saw my dog, but I wasn’t in a hurry, so it truly didn’t bother me at all. The staff remained attentive during the wait, and the overall experience still felt smooth and positive. I will definitely be back in the coming months when my dog is due for her shots. Based on my research, this clinic is also fairly affordable, especially considering the quality of care and location. I highly recommend South Park Animal Hospital if you’re looking for a welcoming, trustworthy, and well-run veterinary clinic in a great area of San Francisco.

I had an amazing experience here. The entire team is incredibly capable, friendly, and knowledgeable. The staff member who helped me with all of my travel documents was especially outstanding — she knew every detail of the process and guided me through everything with so much patience and clarity. Even though I was only here for a simple travel health check, the veterinarian who examined my dog was exceptionally attentive and thorough. She noticed several issues that had taken me multiple tests and vet visits over the past years to piece together. I was genuinely impressed by her level of attention and expertise. Before choosing this clinic, I surveyed at least ten different places. This one truly stands out. The service quality is top-tier, the clinic environment is clean, modern, and comfortable, and the staff are thoughtful and considerate. And despite offering such high-level care, their prices are actually lower than many other clinics that weren’t nearly as good. I’m so grateful for their help and would highly recommend them to anyone looking for excellent veterinary care.

This practice was the first one I visited since moving to SF. I cannot recommend enough the care and kindness of the staff at South Park. My puppy, Ernie, has had a tough start to his first few months after I adopted him. Dr Zerina has been fantastic in providing Ernie with the best care. She also helps educate me about his health which is super helpful as an owner of a puppy. Thank you to the staff!

I have always had pets, so have been to many vets, but now, this is the only vet I will ever go to. Dr. Pal is amazing, and the whole staff at South Park is fantastic. Very good at medicine, but also really good bedside manners. I love this vet and drive an hour (past 20 other vets) to go to them. Highly recommend.

This family run business is the absolute best. They did the hardwork to find out exactly what our cat was suffering from. They figured out what was wrong, determined surgery was needed and then did the surgery all in a single day so she could leave that night and start to recover. They infact did such an incredible job, we will be moving away from our current primary vet and have South Park be our permanent vet moving forward for all matters, big or small. You cannot go wrong with choosing this incredibly dedicated team.
