1. Who these terms are with

These terms govern your use of vetclinic.info (the "site", "we", "us"). The site is operated from Spain. By using the site you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.

2. What the site is

vetclinic.info is an informational directory of veterinary specialty practices, primarily in the United States. We publish:

• Listings for individual practices (address, contact information, services, photos, reviews)
• City- and state-level browse pages
• Procedure articles explaining common specialty surgeries and treatments

Listings combine information from each practice's own public website with data from the Google Places API. Procedure articles are written under the editorial byline Adelinda Manna and are grounded in named veterinary authority sources (university teaching hospitals, the American College of Veterinary Surgeons, the Merck Veterinary Manual, peer-reviewed journals).

3. Not veterinary advice

The site is for general information only. It is not a substitute for professional veterinary advice, diagnosis, or treatment. If your animal is sick, injured, or in distress, contact a licensed veterinarian or an emergency veterinary hospital immediately.

We do not provide medical advice. The procedure articles describe what a procedure typically involves, but the right course of action for a specific animal can only be determined by a vet who has examined the patient.

4. Accuracy of listings

We make a reasonable effort to keep listings accurate, but information changes — clinics move, change ownership, drop or add specialties, change hours. The site is offered "as is". Before relying on a specific detail (hours of operation, whether a clinic accepts walk-ins, exact pricing), confirm directly with the practice.

If you are a clinic owner and want a listing corrected or removed, email [email protected] and we will action the change in a reasonable timeframe.

5. Founding-member subscriptions

5.1 What you get

Founding members receive a promoted listing on the relevant city × specialty page. One promoted spot per specialty per city. The current offer is $500 per month, locked for the life of your subscription, plus an introductory period of 6 months free for the first 5 clinics in exchange for product feedback.

5.2 Payment

Payments are handled by Stripe. By starting a subscription you authorise recurring charges to your payment method until you cancel. We do not see or store your card details.

5.3 Cancellation

You may cancel a subscription at any time by emailing [email protected]. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid period; we don't pro-rate refunds for the remainder of the month.

5.4 Termination by us

We may suspend or terminate a listing if (a) the clinic ceases to operate, (b) the clinic loses its specialty credentials, (c) we receive credible complaints of patient harm, or (d) the subscription is unpaid for more than 14 days.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Scrape, copy, or republish substantial portions of the site without written permission
• Use automated tools to send traffic or fill forms in ways that disrupt service
• Attempt to access admin endpoints or non-public parts of the site
• Submit false information through any form or pledge flow
• Use the site to harass, defame, or harm any practice or person listed

7. Intellectual property

The site's editorial content, design, and code are owned by us or licensed to us. The Adelinda Manna byline and the procedure articles published under it are our editorial property. Clinic names, logos, and trademarks belong to their respective owners and appear here for directory-listing purposes.

Photographs of clinics sourced from Google Places remain the property of their original photographers and are served via Google's image API with attribution. Photographs sourced from a clinic's own website are displayed under the principle of public-facing fair use for directory listings; we will remove any image on written request from the rights-holder.

8. Third-party links

The site links to clinic websites, Google Maps, authority sources cited in procedure articles, and related external pages. We are not responsible for the content, accuracy, or practices of those external sites.

9. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

• The site and its content are provided "as is" and "as available", with no warranties of any kind, express or implied.
• We do not warrant that the site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any specific listing is accurate at the moment you view it.
• We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from your use of the site, including (without limitation) loss of profits, loss of data, or harm to a person or animal that follows a decision informed by the site.
• Our total liability to you for any claim arising from the site is limited to the amount you have paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim (which, if you are not a paying subscriber, is zero).

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

10. Privacy

Your privacy is described in our privacy policy, which forms part of these terms.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the current version. For material changes, we'll post a notice on the homepage for at least 14 days. Continued use of the site after the changes take effect constitutes acceptance.

12. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of Spain. Any dispute arising from these terms or your use of the site shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Spain, without prejudice to any consumer-protection rights you may have under the laws of your country of residence.
