I wanted to take a moment to thank everyone at VSx for the incredible care they gave my foster pup, Gizmo (now known as Sparky)! Sparky arrived at the animal shelter where I work with a fractured left forelimb and required surgery to repair it. From the moment you walk through the doors, you’re greeted warmly by the reception staff, which immediately puts you at ease. Because Sparky was still such a young puppy, I was naturally worried about the surgery and what his recovery would look like. However, the staff took the time to reassure me that he would be in great hands and well taken care of and they absolutely delivered. The team not only provided excellent care during his procedure, but they also checked in afterward to make sure everything was going smoothly at home. That level of compassion and follow up meant so much. Now, almost two months post surgery, Sparky is walking perfectly and running around with his brother like nothing ever happened. Thanks to the amazing team at VSx, he gets to live his best life: happy, healthy, and just being the playful puppy he’s meant to be with my family. We are so grateful for everything you did for him!

My 2 year old Great Pyrenees mix Kodi had two TPLO surgeries, one in April and one in July. Dr. Wosar and the team were fantastic, patient with my stubborn pup, and did a great job with the surgeries. Kodi recovered well and was good to go hiking in September, just a little over 2 months after his second surgery. He is back to being a happy dog again. Thank you VSx team.

The utmost respect and praise for VSx, especially Dr. Piazza. We were beside ourselves when our regular vet referred us to a specialist for Olive to have a second surgery, an exploratory one at that. After meeting Dr. Piazza and his team, we felt completely confident and comfortable putting our baby in his hands. He has such a calming presence and a true gift for explaining procedures in a way that builds trust and understanding. I honestly wish I could find a human doctor with his approach and kindness. Not even a week later, Olive is healing so quickly. Her incision is incredibly clean, and her stitches are practically a work of art. After her first surgery at a different vet, she came home visibly in pain for at least a week, heavily medicated, and bruised. This time was completely different. She was back to herself in no time and minimal medication. If you’re reading this and feeling nervous about needing a specialist, I hope this gives you peace of mind. Dr. Piazza and the entire VSx team are highly skilled, compassionate, and truly exceptional. Thank you, thank you, thank you.

My 9 years old 9 months old Alaskan Malamute just had 2 large, relatively complex, lipomas removed from his abdomen and right arm pit areas (one was covered by muscle layers and one was wrapped in his arm’s blood vessels), Dr. Wosar did an absolutely amazing job with the surgery!! So skilled! Zero complications! And beautiful sutures sites! Truly an amazingly talented surgeon! From the first consultation, Dr. Wosar was empathetic, informative, knowledgeable, and answered every single one of my 38 questions in the most calm manner. His proposed treatment plan was very comprehensive, detailed, and logical. The entire front desk and vet tech staff were sososo attentive to my baby and really took THE BEST care of him. They also had great communication informing me of Koda’s status throughout the CT and the surgery. I truly appreciated the frequent updates! The CT scan and the procedures were expensive but they are very transparent with their estimates upfront and explain every single item in detail. I’m so thankful I took my baby here to get the best care possible!! Highly recommended for any surgical needs. (Picture of my baby on surgery day before they brought him back)

I liked everything about this office! My family and I are forever grateful that Dr. Piazza did TPLO surgery on my 100lb+ French Mastiff! He and his team clearly explained all plans/steps during the surgical consultation. We left the consultation with blood work handled, the estimated price of the surgery and a surgery date.....the minimal office visits is definitely appreciated! The staff there during our visits were down to earth, patient and caring professionals. I thank them all for being genuine in their craft!
