Our experience at AVSE was fantastic! Our corgi, Kaya, presented with IVDD symptoms and was struggling to walk. They were able to quickly diagnose and surgically treat her herniated disc. It’s clear from their knowledge and superior care that they are experts in dealing with this kind of issue. The staff were all wonderful to us and treated Kaya with so much love and care while she was there. We really appreciated that they accommodated our visits with Kaya during her ICU stay. Dr. Nanai was excellent and answered all of our many questions before and after surgery. Kaya is doing so well post-surgery, and we credit that to the amazing care she received at AVSE.

We were sent to this ER by our vet. Our precious Daisy has a tumor on her thyroid. I went there expecting to hear the worst. They did a biopsy (don’t have results test), but the vet made me feel more relaxed. She also really loved Daisy, as did the rest of the staff members. Having Daisy in the hands of strangers was tough, but by the end of the visit, we felt that we were in the hands of smart, caring and loving people. I have used other dog Ers in the past for other dogs and I had trepidation because of my prior experiences. This was so different. I recommend this veterinary ER/clinic very highly. If you need emergency services, you are in great hands here.

I cannot say enough good things about Alpharetta Veterinary Specialty & Emergency. They truly went above and beyond when my puppy, Zoltar, decided to eat something he absolutely should not have. From the moment we walked in, the entire team was incredible. The front desk staff was calm, kind, and reassuring during a very stressful situation. You can tell they genuinely care about both the pets and the owners walking through their doors. The veterinary technicians were attentive, knowledgeable, and efficient. They explained everything clearly, kept me updated, and handled Zoltar with patience and compassion. The veterinarians were professional, thorough, and confident in their approach. It was obvious that everyone there truly knows what they’re doing. That level of competence brings so much peace of mind during an emergency. What stood out most to me was how seamless the entire process felt. From intake to treatment, the communication was excellent and the care was top-tier. Zoltar was treated quickly and safely, and I felt supported every step of the way. I also truly appreciated their pricing. I cannot say enough good things about Alpharetta Veterinary Specialty & Emergency. My cat Opal is currently there undergoing diagnostics, and while this is such a difficult situation, I know she is in the very best hands. The facility itself is beautiful and has a calming atmosphere, even for a kitty who usually doesn’t love vet visits. The technician and DVM who cared for her were absolutely amazing. They were knowledgeable, compassionate, and patient. They let me ask every question I had, walked me through the answers in detail, and never once made me feel rushed. Most importantly, they made me feel like my baby girl was truly cared for. No matter what the outcome of her diagnostics may be, I am so grateful I brought her here. I couldn’t ask for a better team or a better place to trust with her care.

From beginning to end the staff here were amazing! They saved my boy after he ate a rug. Their pricing is the best in the area. The wait was a few hours, but they were also slammed with other cases and my boy was stable at the time. He is still healing but is doing amazing! Being in the veterinary field myself, I'm always very protective of my babies when others handle them. The staff was so reassuring and compassionate that I immediately trusted them with his care. I am incredibly grateful for all the technicians, doctors and receptionists for their amazing work. I will definitely go back there (hopefully not) if I ever need emergent care for my fur babies.
