I cannot say enough good things about this orthopedic surgery team. They have been helping my girl through persistent infection issues and complications from a TPLO / hardware placed by a previous orthopedic group, and their level of care has been nothing short of exceptional. They are responsive, compassionate, and truly invested in her wellbeing. Every visit, they take the time to explain what’s going on, collaborate on the best course of action, and make sure I feel supported through every step. With how complex her case is, I wouldn’t trust her in anyone else’s hands. The entire team is absolutely wonderful. They’ve been patient with my nerves, kind to my girl, and endlessly thoughtful in the way they approach her care. I appreciate them more than I can express, and I hope they know just how much they are valued.

Spry Companions gave us more than just a successful surgery—they gave us peace of mind during one of the scariest moments we’ve faced with our dog, Marlowe. She had a total hip replacement, and from the moment we walked through the door, we were met with warmth, kindness, and true compassion. Everyone on staff was so sweet—not just to us, but especially to Marlowe. She was nervous and did her fair share of howling, but they never made us feel like she was a burden. Instead, they told us how much they loved her, how sweet she was, and treated her like one of their own. They were incredibly thorough with post-op instructions and took the time to make sure we understood everything we needed to do to keep her comfortable and safe at home. The clinic itself was clean, calm, and clearly run by people who love what they do. For such a major surgery, the cost was beyond reasonable—and yet the quality of care felt priceless. We are so thankful for Spry Companions and how they cared for our girl. We would trust them again in a heartbeat.

10 out of 5 stars. Top notch! My dog was limping, Dr Breshears talked about TPLO surgery, and scoping the knee first. Once he scoped my dogs leg, turns out was an atypical case, lots of fluid and inflammation, but structurally sound. Dr Breshears called immediately to talk through options, took a sample of the fluid. once we had those results, we talked through all possibilities knowing I needed to go to an internist as my next step. We came up with a plan, ensuring Hank had support until his next appt. Then 2-3 months later, Dr Breshears called to check in, and told me to reach out at any point with my dogs journey of IMPA Incredibly knowledgeable, patient, and most importantly caring.

We had an amazing experience at Spry! Our dog had a limp and our regular vet recommended TPLO surgery right away. We wanted a second opinion, so we saw Dr. Miller, and he was absolutely fantastic. He took the time to answer all of our questions and didn’t rush us at all. Instead of pushing surgery, he recommended holding off to see how she recovered. He explained that he couldn’t say for sure it was an ACL tear without additional imaging, which he felt would be too aggressive based on what he saw on the X-ray. He also gave us clear signs to watch for in case we do need to come back. Our pup is normally super anxious at the vet, but the exam rooms were so calm and welcoming that she wasn’t nearly as stressed as usual. She even loved Dr. Miller, which is huge, because we usually have to coax her out from under a chair! Highly recommend Spry. If her limp comes back, we will absolutely be returning here.

There are no words to describe how grateful I am for this veterinary clinic. Dr. Miller performed two hip replacements on my dog and her recovery has been extremely fast with excellent results. I don’t have kids so I consider my animals my children. Therefore I have bothered Dr. Miller with so many questions throughout this process, and he has been patient and answered every single one in depth every single time. I also want to acknowledge the incredible staff members who are both surgical assists as well as those who work at the front desk. Every single one of them has been helpful in answering questionx, extremely kind and supportive, always checking in on my dog‘s progress and answering any questions I throw at them. I hope you don’t have a dog who is severely injured but if you do, I would never trust anyone else outside of this clinic.
