Wildwood was an amazing clinic when Dr Welsch was working there. Recently when my exotic got sick my first response was to take him to wildwood. Upon my arrival the current Dr that is there, Dr. Chu was in surgery and I was waiting in office over 2 hours for an exam. Understanding things happen, I just wanted to get answers why my pet is sick. Dr suggested to take some blood and they would contact me with results. Over a week and a half has gone by and no one reached out to me with results. I called the front office and Jenna is extremely nice she let me know the results were in, and the Dr would contact me with her determination. She apologized saying the Dr was out for a few days and would contact me soon. 5 days later I call back to cancel all my future appointments becuase I still received no results. My issue is that when a pet is sick, and a service is being paid for, at least some communication would be appreciated. No one bothered to even escalate my concerns or address that I paid several hundreds of dollars for blood tests that were not gone over with me. Over 2 weeks my pet continued to stay sick hoping they would contact me.

Thank you to Wildwood Veterinary Hospital for taking care of my precious bird. She broke the tip of her beak and was bleeding. I called all night to various vet places and to no avail was I able to get help for her until this morning. I had to bandage her beak with some flour on wound last night so that she didn’t continue bleeding. Thank you specially to Dr Azevedo! And, to her team! I wish she would return so that this establishment would have a good rating as BBB indicates an alert for licenses.

My bird was very ill and I didn’t know what was wrong with him. I had never taken him to the vet before so I was extremely worried about his care. The staff here exceeded my expectations on how well they cared for him. They did the initial body exam and handled him with the most respectful and professional care. Although he passed at the end of the exam they prepared me in the beginning of what could happen during the exam. It turned out he was too sick and he almost made it but wasn’t healthy enough. The staff here is absolutely amazing and I am so grateful that I put my trust in them to help my parakeet. If I ever need any help in the future I will definitely be going back here and I highly suggest this vet and staff. I can’t thank them enough for everything they did for my bird and me. Thank you!!!

One of the few vet hospital that can treat turtles. Doctor Welsh and all the stuff are very caring and professional. My turtle is now happy and healthy again!
