I wish I can give this location more than 5 stars! The Vet, Dr. Lopez and her Vet Tech Vanessa helped me take care of my sweet black cat Romeo, who developed urinary irritation and bleeding after heightened stress from his brother Leo coming back from 2-day hospitalization for unblocking. Romeo hissed and growled when he smelled Leo's vet smell or saw the cone, and soon after he started showing signs of low appetite, frequent litter trips, and then bleeding. A 2nd cat of 3 with urinary issues! I was appalled and needed to act quick so that the same thing with Leo didn't happen with Romeo ~ The receptionist Tania was very nice and was able to find my account easily (my first time at Upper East but was seeing the Medical center at 57th St with Leo previously) and add a new pet profile for Romeo quickly. I told her all information once and everything was inputted accurately as I saw in the medical papers (compared to 57th St multiple info was wrongly inputted for Leo.) As soon as I got there they roomed me and Vanessa came in to triage and ask me questions promptly, and I filled her in about Leo as well. Dr. Lopez was very respectful, concerned, and professional in the way she spoke to me during the exam and how she was figuring out the best course of action. Knowing my negative experience with my first visit with Leo, she agreed that antibiotics at this point are not necessary and decided to treat Romeo with more supportive care involving pain, stress and inflammation management. This first visit with Romeo at upper East with Dr. Lopez, I truly felt heard and respected, and am so happy to say Romeo is much better with no blood and sleeping/cuddling with his brother again! Overall I am so grateful for having close access to such a professional, high-end vet care with reasonable prices that can help me with most of my cats urgent needs and ensure that I can provide the best life for them!

I recently brought my dogs to URvet Care and was so impressed with the entire experience. From the moment I called to request an appointment, the staff could not have been kinder or more attentive. The facility itself is cheerful, colorful, and welcoming - such a refreshing change from so many dreary vet offices. Upon arrival, we were even offered coffee and water, and my dogs were given treats right away - such thoughtful touches that made us all feel comfortable and at home. The team truly went above and beyond to make us feel cared for. They took the time to explain everything clearly and I felt completely at ease knowing the dogs were in such good hands. As a pet parent with two dogs, I’ve visited many vets over the years, and this was by far the most professional and compassionate practices I’ve encountered. I’m very grateful to have found them and highly recommend URvet Care to anyone looking for outstanding A+++ veterinary care in NYC.

Five stars for UR Vet Clinic! They handled my cat’s travel certificate to Thailand perfectly, even with the tight turnaround for USDA originals during the holidays. Dr. Jennifer Lopez and the staff are professional, organized, and clearly experts in international travel requirements. The facility is also state-of-the-art. Highly recommend for both routine care and complex travel needs!

UR Vet has been a lifesaver for me. They are all so kind and caring to my 15 Year old baby. They explain everything in detail and give you options if available. I feel at home there and use them as my vet not just for emergency. Everyone from the front desk to the back end. All incredible!!! My baby broke his foot and they even decorate his cast.. they are the Best!

I took my dog to URvet and you talk about the best treatment. What!!! I was referred by the vet hospital where I was waiting for two hours to be seen. That’s another story. I had such a great experience at URvet. From the time I called URvet until the time I left, great experience. As soon as you walk in you’re greeted by an amazing front desk person, that helped me relax. The atmosphere is amazing my dog felt very relaxed as well. The triage person took notes and was very thorough. She was also very cordial, very precise in her questioning. I really appreciate professionalism. I could tell she loves her job. Now for the doctor,an amazing veterinary. She handled my dog so well. Most vets see a German shepherd a become a bit skeptical but she got on the floor and check my baby and talked to her. Dr. Lopez treated Kemet and honestly the next day Kemet was feeling better. That has never happened. The doctor made sure I knew how to treat my best friend before we left. She also told me to call if I needed to. I needed to call, and my questions were answered. My dog is doing soooooo much better,thanks to Dr. Lopez and her amazing team.
