The vets here have always been awesome. Really make sure I understand what’s going on with my cat, really check up on him, etc. I’ve never had any issues. Only complaint would be that the new monthly plans are not very economical- it was basically cheaper to get the cheapest plan and add bloodwork than the senior plan. And a lot of the benefits for the highest plan didn’t apply for our situation. I just hope corporate doesn’t push this practice too hard for extra profit because I like the quality as it is now. But overall, everyone at this location has been absolutely lovely.

I enjoyed all the staff. They were so kind with us and Mocha. I didn't get the front desk attendant's name, but she was kind and anwered by questions about billing. Both Dr. Wolfe and the tech Rachael were great at answering all of my questions as a nervous new pet mom. They also gave Mocha her shot and were great at distracting her. She didn't cry or anything. Thankfully she had a pleasant experience. I'm so glad I chose them. I also enjoy the fact that I was with Mocha the entire time because I heard at some other locations you don't get to stay with your babies.

I initially chose GoodVets because a friend recommended them. During our first few visits to the Montford location, our experience was excellent. My dog was about one year old when we started coming here, and we were very happy with the level of care and attention he received. Over time, however, our experience changed. We were consistently assigned different veterinarians despite requesting the same veterinarian who had previously cared for my dog. The continuity of care that we valued was no longer there. I also felt that my dog was not receiving the same level of interaction or thorough physical examination during his appointments. While I understand that every veterinarian has a different approach and that safety is always the priority, I couldn’t help but feel that my dog’s breed or size may have influenced how he was handled. My dog is very friendly with both people and other dogs, although he does get extremely anxious during veterinary visits. Since he was a puppy, he has struggled with vaccines and becomes frightened even with minor procedures. Because of his separation anxiety, I explained that he does better with medication when necessary. Despite this, he was routinely taken to the back for vaccinations while wearing a muzzle, which made the experience even more stressful for both of us. I would have appreciated more discussion about alternative ways to make his visits less intimidating. Another concern was that neutering was brought up during nearly every visit, even after we had explained that we were still considering our options. While I understand that veterinarians make recommendations based on medical guidelines, repeatedly revisiting the same discussion after we had already expressed our position became frustrating. The reason I decided to write this review is because I recently tried to schedule an appointment so my dog could participate in swimming classes. I was surprised to learn that his medical record included a note stating that he “can be overprotective” of me. In my experience, that description does not accurately reflect his behavior. Like any dog, he can be cautious in certain situations, especially in stressful environments, but he is generally calm, friendly, and well-socialized. Overall, I am disappointed because our experience started out so positively. I truly wanted to continue bringing my dog here, but the lack of consistency, communication, and what I feel was an inaccurate characterization of my dog’s behavior has led me to look elsewhere for his care. Unfortunately, based on my experience, I would not recommend GoodVets to other pet owners.

My boyfriend and I are first time puppy parents and GoodVets has been so helpful through this life adjustment. Fred is always excited to go to the vet (pics of him on the way included here) because he gets so much love by the staff there! Dr. Stanley is very reassuring in unexpected circumstances and super thoughtful with her care and advice. Highly recommend this place if you want consistent, fast, and reliable care for your pup!

I’ve had good experiences in the past however will not be returning. In the Goodvets app, I requested a vaccine express visit. Prior to arrival, my dogs visit was changed - without consent - to full exam visit. I tried to have a conversation with the manager Jessie however she insisted my partner requested the exam in office. This is not true because I have email evidence that the visit was changed prior to arrival. I also entered a discount voucher with my visit that they DID NOT honor. I’ve asked Jessie to waive the exam fee or at the VERY LEAST honor the promo discount. To date she has done neither, and stopped responding.
