I would like to sincerely thank the team at Dogwood for the amazing care they provided for my kitty, Mel. When I arrived there, she wasn’t even able to walk, which was incredibly scary and heartbreaking for me. The team treated her with so much attention, compassion, and professionalism. They were patient, explained everything clearly, and truly showed genuine love and care for animals. In just five days, with the medication they prescribed, she is already doing so much better 🙏🏻 She’s walking normally and eating very well! My heart is overflowing with gratitude for the incredible team at Dogwood who took such exceptional care of my Rosie. Rosie was in shock and unable to walk when we arrived, but Taylor from the front desk heroically ran out to my car and scooped up 75 lbs of limp Golden Retriever without a second of hesitation to rush her to the back for critical care. Dr. Shih provided exceptional care during Rosie’s five-day hospitalization. He gave her a second chance at life that wouldn’t have been possible without his wealth of expertise, dedication, and tenderness. I was so impressed by his knowledge and his ability to explain complex medical issues so clearly. Having our options laid out so effectively supported our decision-making process during such an overwhelming time. It was a rollercoaster of hope, heartache, and uncertainty, but Dr. Shih didn't give up on my girl. He went above and beyond in ways I never could have expected. While I wish I could name every person who touched Rosie's life, I want to specifically thank her fabulous nurse, Katie. Her diligence, kindness, and patience (especially with Rosie’s "tummy problems") undoubtedly played a vital role in her recovery. I am also deeply grateful for the compassion Shannon showed me when things looked grim; her tenderness made all the difference when my heart was shattering. Thank you, Dogwood, for giving me more time with my golden girl. You are an incredible bunch and could not be more deserving of the highest of praises.

Dogwood saved my dog’s life. The facility is truly state-of-the-art, and the level of care was exceptional from start to finish. My dog required immediate surgery, and the team acted quickly and decisively. Communication was outstanding — I received immediate updates after surgery, and throughout his ICU care I always knew exactly how he was doing. The coordination between doctors, technicians, and staff was seamless and incredibly reassuring during a terrifying time. Thanks to their expertise and compassion, my dog made a full recovery. I am endlessly grateful, albeit financially traumatized, and cannot recommend this clinic highly enough.

My dog had to stay one night at this emergency hospital. They could not have been kinder, compassionate, and caring. I was in tears but they took the time to explain the procedures my fur baby would need. We got two calls from the vet and happy to say, she is doing wonderful! I would recommend this facility to anyone! We were also able to donate towels and blankets after seeing all the animals they treated.

We are beyond grateful for the entire team at Dogwood Emergency Vet. From the moment we arrived, everyone was incredibly friendly, caring, and compassionate during such a stressful time. They truly saved Chuckie’s life, and we will never be able to thank them enough. We especially want to thank Peter, Aaron, Andrea, Mary Beth, Trevor, Pamela, Andre, and Molly. Everyone involved went above and beyond for Chuckie and for us. The team was extremely attentive and genuinely concerned, taking the time to answer all of our questions and making sure we understood everything throughout the entire process. Communication was excellent from start to finish, and we always felt informed and supported. We also want to mention how incredibly clean and sanitary the facility was, which gave us even more confidence in the level of care Chuckie was receiving.
