We are so lucky to have Noe Animal Hospital as our local vet! After recently adopting my cat Fern from the SFSPCA (which was also a wonderful experience btw!) we faced some mild (but stressful!) growing pains that sometimes come with new pet ownership, including skin and GI issues. The team at Noe Animal Hospital has been extremely helpful and accommodating to all of Fern’s needs, making us feel totally cared for and prioritized. In between appointments, the team kindly and promptly responded to all my questions via phone call and email. At Fern’s visits, the office is always clean, warm, and welcoming. I did not feel pressured into any additional services or expenses during our visits. The staff even made Fern feel extra special by giving her lots of attention and sweet compliments! Fern is feeling back to her fabulous self with help from your wonderful doctors and staff! We’re looking forward to continuing care at Noe Animal Hospital for many years to come. Thank you!

Tl;Dr: all three of our cats are patients at Noe Animal Hospital and we've had nothing but great experiences, even with their very different medical needs and personalities. Dr. Gopisetty and all the staff do a great job with them, and I'm thrilled by the care the cats get and how easy the people are to work with! (full review below) I tend to have 3 big concerns about vets: price, transparency, and being chastised about care. My experience at Noe Animal Hospital has been excellent regarding all three: 1) They are expensive, but not unreasonably so for a vet's office in SF proper. The invoices are clear and transparent (and super easy to submit to insurance), their prices are not significantly inflated compared to what some friends have paid/been paying, and they've worked with us to reduce cost on some procedures that were run again to double check results or because of a faulty piece of equipment due to poor manufacturing. I overall feel like I'm paying a fair price for quality care, and the fact that they are not owned by PE is a big plus. 2) They've been transparent about care plans and steps from the beginning. Our two healthy cats only need to go in once a year, with our diabetic cat they were both extremely accommodating in scheduling us in (e.g. we got a 30 minute slot the next day to help us apply his glucose monitor), and very encouraging of us doing all his care at home to avoid the stress, time, and cost of bringing him in. We were supported through the initial process and Dr. Gopisetty checks in with us a couple times a month to make sure he's still doing well without requiring coming in for a checkup. 3) I am not always the most consistent about vet visits, and infact initially brought in 2 of my cats late '22. It was 3 years before I went back in late '25 (due to life circumstances and forgetfulness), and while I was concerned about being lectured about continuous care and missing one of the cat's vaccines in that gap, that didn't happen. Instead, the gap was acknowledged and we picked up care from where we left off. Additionally, all three cats are overweight and all discussions about diet and weight loss are focused on goal weights and getting there, with no blame on us as owners for the weight gain. Overall, the attitude towards care is positive and forward facing, more of a "where do we go next" not "who's fault is it that we got here". All the doctors and staff do a great job with our boys and I've never been concerned about how they'll be handled or treated during appointments. I've recommended friends with new pets become patients here, and will continue to bring my current and future cats here as long as they're around!

Dr. Goodrich is great with both of our dogs big and small. She’s very flexible with our big dog when he needs more emotional support and is so kind to our little. The team is very responsive and great at making the vet a pleasure for both humans and pups. They are a newer practice and I can tell sometimes they are still gaining experience with more fearful pups— but they are open to working with their clients to make it happen!

We needed to bring our 6 year old tabby in for his updated checkups and shots as our original long time animal hospital closed and moved away. As Noe Animal Hospital is now closed, we decided to bring our trusted family cat, one of two, to get him updated and entrusted to their care. Immediately upon arrival, I was greeted by Ms. Devon, the Senior Practitioner at the facility. Calming my fears of a new location that upset my feline friend, we were all put at ease with Devon's calm and reassuring manner and all fears dispensed with at the time. Upon meeting the wonderful veternarian, Dr. Paolo, we immediately became calm and peaceful under her tender care. She took the time to calm our Ivan and reassure her that he was in good hands. After getting his shots, we came home and he went out for a bit and then returned home to sleep peacefully. I reccomend Noe Animal Hospital for all of your family pets, either for an emergency or yearly checkups. All of their staff is uniquely suited to care for your animals with the same loving care that you yourself and your family offer and extend to your pets. Simply put, TAKE YOUR PETS HERE!!! This was my first experience with Dr. Goodrich and Noe Valley Animal Hospital. From even just calling in to set up the appointment, the front desk team were helpful, kind, personable, and funny. As all of us are, I am slightly crazy when it comes to my two dogs. They were completely understanding, kind, and helped with all kinds of records and rescheduling questions! When I arrived, the hospital is SO CUTE and the entire experience was welcoming, kind, and comfortable. I have two big dogs, and the team seemed excited to meet them, pet them, and interact. Dr. Goodrich was knowledgable and confident, without being pushy. I truly trust my babies with this team, and am so grateful to have found a healthcare home for my doggies.
