I don’t normally leave reviews, but I felt compelled to share the outstanding experience we had with this animal hospital. From the moment we arrived with Remy, the front desk staff was prompt, attentive, and made sure we felt supported throughout the entire process. During Remy’s initial exam, the team walked us through their recommendations and provided clear cost estimates, which we really appreciated. Ultimately, Remy needed surgery for a blockage, and the level of care we received was truly exceptional. Dr. Woody deserves special recognition—she was clear on next steps, communicated possible risks and compassionate through an incredibly stressful situation. Dr. Woody called for an update when she said she would and the operator answered every phone call, and never left us wondering how Remy was doing. We are so grateful for the care Remy received. Truly a 10/10 experience. Thank you so much.

From the start to the very end I have felt in good hands! They immediately took my dog in when he had pale gums and then performed an emergency surgery the following day, there is no hospital with that kind of turnaround time! Normally we would have to wait for doctors to open up or find an echocardiogram doctor in a far area, but here they had everyone ON-SITE. So so awesome. I will be transferring to Oncology after, and yet again, everything is there that we need. As far as customer service, wow — so refreshing to see welcoming front desk personnel, all the technicians were friendly and extremely attentive to not only me but my dog as well. This situation has been incredibly tough to go through but with everyone’s help and knowledge I have been able to understand and make thoughtful decisions. I did not feel rushed or pressured. Also, the ER doctor and Surgeon Dr. Bucks were so confident in their work that I knew my dog was in good hands. You worry about older dogs in surgery or even any surgery, but they do this routinely so they know what they’re doing. The doctors would call me when they said they would and were available to talk if needed. I didn’t feel like I was out of the loop. So on top of things here and I truly appreciate it that’ll I’ll be sending a treat over for all the staff. Thank you all for taking care of my Romeo.

ACCESS Specialty Animal Hospital – San Fernando Valley truly saved both of our cats. In the last few weeks, they brought a nearly lifeless rescued kitten back from the brink after he almost died from a severe parasite infestation. Thanks to the incredible doctors here, he is now eating, playing, gaining weight, and thriving. Around the same time, our adult cat suffered a severe reaction after accidentally ingesting Bravecto given at another clinic. He became weak, lethargic, and we almost lost him. We rushed him to ACCESS in critical condition, and they treated him with such compassion and professionalism. Within 24 hours he was stabilized, and the next day he came home completely healthy. Every single person — from reception to the medical team — was kind, attentive, and highly skilled. They are available 24/7, always responsive, and truly do miracles. I cannot express how grateful we are. ACCESS saved not only our pets’ lives, but our hearts as well. Highly, highly recommend. Thank you for everything!

⚠️ DANGEROUS & NEGLIGENT ⚠️ **IM NOT THE FIRST TO CLAIM THIS. SEARCH GOOGLE ON YOUR OWN** If you value your pet’s life and your own family's safety, do not bring your animals to this facility. After spending nearly $7,000 on a bronchoscopy to get targeted answers for my dog's severe respiratory issues, this clinic demonstrated a level of incompetence and negligence that actively put my own health in danger. Here is what you can expect if you trust this clinic with your pet's life: They Don't Seem to Read Medical Records: After the expensive bronchoscopy, the specialist prescribed Doxycycline. My primary vet had already prescribed this exact medication twice with no results. Which seems blatantly obvious the internal medicine specialist ("Dr." Elana Hadar) didn't even bother to review my dog's chart before prescribing. They Expect YOU to be the Doctor: When I spoke to the vet tech on the phone to address this, they actually asked me what options I wanted to take and if I wanted to switch medications. I paid thousands of dollars for an expert treatment plan based on clinical cultures, not to be asked to guess what drug to try next. Unprofessional & Dismissive: When the 'Vet' actually got on the phone, she continually interrupted me and refused to listen to my valid concerns. Yes, I got loud. I had to raise my voice simply because the doctor refused to let me speak, kept talking over me, and tried to commandeer a conversation while completely ignoring the facts of my dog's case. Dangerous Negligence with Hazardous Drugs: The new medication they finally mailed us (Chloramphenicol) is highly toxic to humans. The prescribing vet provided ZERO verbal warnings or required informed consent about the severe human dangers. The bottle arrived with a "hazardous" sticker but absolutely no written safe-handling or administration instructions. (When my husband reached out on Friday and expressed the URGENCY, we were informed - "the internal medicine department was out and that no one could assist me or provide guidance for three days regarding this hazardous medication) Human Exposure & Abandonment: Because of their failure to warn me or provide handling protocols, I was exposed to and inhaled the toxic medication dust while trying to give it to my dog. This put my entire household at risk, including my 76-year-old mother. They ignored medical records, prescribed a toxic hazard with zero safety instructions, and then completely abandoned us when we called for urgent help. I am currently filing formal complaints with the California Veterinary Medical Board.

We are forever grateful to the entire team for the incredible care they gave our dog, Chai, during a very stressful labor. They took the time to thoroughly assess her, identified the issue quickly, and helped ensure she was able to deliver naturally and safely. Thanks to their expertise and compassion, both Chai and her puppies are healthy and doing well. The staff treated us with kindness, patience, and reassurance every step of the way. We truly cannot thank them enough for taking such great care of our family.
