I can’t say enough positive things about this place. Their care, communication and LOVE for what they do is out of this world. My bully had bilateral surgery on his elbows for elbow dysplasia. I have never felt not nervous dropping my dog off for surgery. I was able to watch the WHOLE surgery online, the night nurse was texting me photos and updates during the night, Dr Trumpatori called me right after my dog was done with surgery. 1000000/10 would recommend

The staff is very friendly and professional. You can tell that Dr Ross loves his job and dogs. He fully explained the causation of the cruciate ligament tear in laymen terms. I felt like a I was in a classroom learning about full tears, partial tears, ruptures and the factors of what may have caused it. I was able observe the surgery web link. I was updated when she came out of surgery, recovery and she did through the night. They sent me pictures. Upon picking up Shiloh, Dr Ross went over the surgery and explained what she can and can't do. What I needed to do to to help Shiloh recover and get stronger. The aftercare paper work was detailed and very easy to read and follow. I would recommend Dr Ross and Staff to anyone who has a dog with knee or joint issues.

We're officially 8 weeks post TPLO surgery and while I was so nervous before we started the process of finding a surgeon, I can confidently say we have been so well taken care of. From calling to schedule the consultation, to reminders before appointments, to the night staff taking care of our girl (and sending updates via text with pictures), to all of the follow-up the whole team at AZ Canine Ortho has been incredible. We even got to watch a live-stream of the surgery (which was so cool). You can tell when you first walk in that everyone on staff truly loves dogs. Dr. P really took his time and made sure we understood what we were getting into starting with how common a CCL tear is, what is happening with the anatomy, what a TPLO actually consists of, and what we could expect from recovery. For most of our consultation he was on the floor loving on our girl and it was so obvious that she was immediately comfortable and adored every staff member she came in contact with. The price we were quoted for our ~70lb pup was right in the middle of what my research prepared me for and this price covered EVERYTHING. Every x-ray, every follow-up appointment, all the medications and tools like e-collars and lick-sleeves we were sent home with. Everything. Dr. P even called in an additional prescription on his day off when we found that we needed to add another med to keep our pup a little more sedated after surgery. We chose to do our initial consult with AZ Canine Ortho because they had the highest Google rating in the Valley with great reviews and I can confidently say we made the very best choice we could have.

This facility is amazing from first contact to final appointment. The staff worked with us to prepare Wendy for her TPLO and were able to adjust when we needed more time to clear a skin infection she had not relating to her surgery. They went above and beyond helping us get her the prescriptions she needed by calling multiple locations to find the needed drug. They treated us like we were their top priority every single encounter and really helped her get the best outcome imaginable. She is ready to dive into all her favorite activities again after 12 weeks and we could not be happier.

Our beloved dachshund puppy, Aurora, was diagnosed with an angular limb deformity, and we were thankfully referred to Dr. Petrovsky for evaluation. To say he is phenomenal at what he does would be an understatement!!! Dr. Petrovsky and his team handled Aurora with exceptional care every step of the way. They were compassionate, knowledgeable, and truly dedicated to her well-being. We felt supported and informed throughout the entire process. Aurora has now graduated with a clean start and is on the road to greatness, and we couldn’t be more grateful to this wonderful team for giving her that opportunity. Highly recommended if you’re a nervous pet parent who wants the upmost care for their pets!!!!
