I highly recommend this clinic for anyone navigating a pet cancer diagnosis. After my dog was diagnosed with lymphoma in March 2025, this was the only facility in the greater Seattle area able to see him within six weeks. The weekly commute from Marysville has been well worth it for the level of care we’ve received. The staff is consistently kind and makes a difficult treatment journey feel manageable for both of us. We have now officially passed the one-year mark of managing an aggressive cancer, which is a milestone I credit to this team’s expertise. Dr. Sarbu stands out for being incredibly responsive and having a genuine passion for animals. Whether it is a quick question or a complex update, the communication is always prompt and clear. If you are looking for a team that prioritizes your pet's comfort and provides treatment with a human touch, this is the place to go.

FACILITY: A small solo-practice in a run-down house with a small parking lot in Renton - not an oncology "center". Most oncologists are hard to get in to be seen, but this one often has openings. They lack the onsite facilities (lab, radiologist) that other clinics have so we had to drop the dog off in the morning and then come back again at the end of the day for lab or imaging work. So if you live in Bellevue or Seattle it takes your entire day vs having a short tech visit like other clinics offer. We only saw one other pet on our two visits despite sitting in the waiting room for hours and the front desk was usually empty. VET STYLE; You don't even meet the vet before they take the dog back which was a huge clue. She is intelligent and this work is hard, but her style was controlling and brusque and she blew off my wife's concerns. She was clear that the dog was her only focus and she had no interest in collaborating with our family in caring for the dog. How vets plan for and handle EOL care is one key to satisfaction and she wasn't someone we felt we could trust through that. (We got a great hospice vet later) COMMUNICATION: She also only communicates via email (quickly) but when our dog had a reaction to an RX from the first visit we had to rush to our regular vet and then to an ER as we couldn't reach her by phone. She also missed a UTI which had developed into a kidney infection but it wasn't discovered until we got a 2nd opinion. QUALITY: Her medical records were cut and paste (she had the name of a different pet in them) We quickly transferred care to a larger clinic, with multiple vets (40 dogs a day) and a collaborative style with onsite imaging, labs and text messaging and were able to get access to other treatment options. OUTCOME: Despite being told we it would be a miracle to get 3 months by Sarbu the dog did well for another 9 months.

Dr Sarbu is kind, knowledgeable, and very skilled with feline oncology care. We were very grateful to get to work with her and her technicians this year, and we were able to have much more time than we otherwise would have with our sweet cat.

Dr Sarbu and her team truly love their job and it shows!!! ❤️ When I knew my dog had cancer, I started my search for an oncologist, read reviews of 10+ WA oncologist and Dr Sarbu had the best reviews and I can see why. Detailed explanations, prompt email responses, patience when explaining, always kind, fair prices, cute details like doggy reindeer pictures, stickers on discharge notes, chemo graduation gesture, etc., make her and her team THE BEST. Another thing I love is that she not only uses chemotherapy but also Eastern medicine to help support dog's immune system. Thank you Dr Sarbu and team ❤️

Dr. Sarbu and her team of wonderful nurses are truly a rare find. They are incredibly sweet and patient, and our dog Winnie was bouncing on her leash with excitement every time we went to chemo. Miss Winnie is now cancer free! I’m so glad we were referred here and I highly recommend this clinic.
