Disappointing Customer Service and Lack of Compassion Until recently, I had been satisfied with the care my pets received here and felt the clinic had a strong and professional staff. Unfortunately, my recent experience has completely changed my opinion. In May, we experienced an emergency with our cat. Before making the trip, my husband called the clinic to confirm that they could see our pet as a walk-in patient. He specifically asked about services, availability, and pricing. He was told that our cat could be seen, instructed to bring him in, and was even provided with an estimated cost. However, when my husband arrived with our very sick cat, the information he had been given suddenly changed. The pricing was different, and the attitude he encountered was far from helpful or compassionate. As a result, our pet was not treated, and my husband left frustrated and upset. This was not only a wasted trip but also an unnecessary hardship for our family. Our sick cat had to endure additional travel in the Texas heat, and we also had to transport our medically fragile child back and forth because the information provided by the clinic was inaccurate. To make matters worse, I later received a letter stating that the clinic would no longer provide emergency services for any of our animals. The letter was addressed to me, despite the fact that I was not present during the visit and had no involvement in the events that occurred that day. I called the clinic to discuss the matter and speak with the individual who signed the letter. Unfortunately, the employee I spoke with was unable to answer my questions or provide any meaningful explanation. I was told the veterinarian was unavailable, and no one else on-site could address my concerns. I found it troubling that there appeared to be no manager or other representative available to explain the decision or discuss what had happened. The way our family and our pet were treated was unacceptable. I believe this situation could have been handled professionally through direct communication rather than a letter with no opportunity for discussion. Compassion, clear communication, and accountability are essential in veterinary care, and unfortunately, those qualities were lacking during this experience. Because of this incident, we will not be returning to this clinic, nor will I be recommending it to others.

May 14 took Sweety to Fredericksburg location. They were very good and kind with Sweety. They pulled her tooth and gave her a shot. I have been taking her to this location and will definitely come back.

I can't thank Texas Veterinary enough for the incredible care they provided to my dog. Back in 2017, my Husky was diagnosed with parvo, and the team at Texas Veterinary acted quickly and compassionately to save his life. Their expertise and dedication were evident every step of the way. The staff was not only knowledgeable but also honest and transparent about the treatment process. I felt reassured knowing that my dog was in capable hands. It's rare to find a veterinary clinic that combines professionalism with genuine care for their patients and their owners. At the bottom was my previous review from two years ago, but I'm adding to it now. We've continued to bring our dog Morris here to the Fredericksburg road Texas Veterinary Hospital because they have become such an integral part of our dog's life. In the last 2 months our family had experienced some situations that had required us to board Morris for what ended up being almost 2 months. It had begun with only a 2 week stay while we attended my father's funeral out of state, but then the stay for Morris ended up being almost 2 months, because my husband got pneumonia during our visit and couldn't return home. TVH never batted an eye when I had to keep calling to extend Morris's stay. Morris received top notch care while he was there: They tested for and treated an issue that they discovered when I dropped him off, and even helped prepare him to travel by air to join us because we couldn't travel back and we missed him so. I was really nervous about Morris flying, and they were marvelously patient with me and my fears during all my long distance phone calls lol. We decided to use some mild sedation because he had never flown before and he's a really active pup, and it worked beautifully. It calmed him so that he was able to be in the terminal surrounded by a ton of people, and I could handle him on the leash for the first time in his entire 12 years! ("who are you and what did you do with Morris, LoL") But seriously, his personality was still my Morris 🥰. I want to thank everyone at TVH for meeting our challenges and making Morris part of their family over these last 2 months. He's healthy and happy, which is a testament to the loving care he received Old review: We are new to TVH, but we came here because my daughter used to bring her dog Jayme here and gave them high praises. None of our dogs in the past would go into a vet's office willingly, but our dog Morris loves coming here! We boarded Morris here for a week and I was worried because he'd never been boarded before and it was going to be for such a long time. He must have had a great week because now whenever we pull into the parking lot, he's so happy he can hardly contain himself lol. He's being treated now for things that have required return visits and ask I have to say is, "Let's go to the vet" and my 60 lb dog is dragging me to the truck! Dr Stribley and the staff are amazing caretakers of our beloved, and we won't go anywhere else. Thank you Texas Veterinary Hospital 🥰
