When I walked into this place, I was greeted promptly! There were four or five young ladies at the front desk all working diligently with multiple clients. I know it’s a vet clinic, but they were doing all of this with a smile. As I post the desk, my information was taken properly and everything was conveyed back to Dr. Whitehill. After my dog Went back They kept me informed the whole time of what was going on! Everybody was super friendly and I was very impressed with my overall experience. I appreciate the staff and Dr. Whitehill so much.. My Frenchie eat a few grapes from the that the 2 yr old lovingly gave her…. THANKS AGAIN . 10 out of 10 HIGHLY RECOMMEND

💯 recommend!! Dr Foley is AMAZING! My cat was very sick. He had “kitty pancreatitis”… she took the time to find out WHY instead of just treating symptoms. She saved his life. I’m forever grateful. And so is Jett.

We have been going to Leander Vet Clinic for almost ten years. They have been there from annual vet checks to the passing of our beloved furry baby. I love that they’re a family owned clinic. You’re not treated as just a number, but like family. The environment is clean, warm, inviting, and adorably decorated. The front staff is warm and attentive. I recently took my shihtzu there for an eye issue and Dr. Morehead was thorough and took the time to explain each step of the examination even drawing out what’s going on a whiteboard. The next day a received a follow up call on bloodwork by a different Dr. who was equally thorough and so nice. Anytime I have ever needed anything for my pets they are right there to help. There is not a better place in the Austin area to take your furry babies!

I have taken time to write this review because I believe it is important and hope it reaches the right people. We entrusted Leander Vet Clinic with the care of our three dogs for nearly four years. During that time, they were healthy and well cared for. In August, our seven-year-old Golden Retriever developed a mass on his eye. The clinic quickly scheduled surgery to remove the mass and send it for biopsy, and we appreciated the initial responsiveness. However, following the procedure, his health declined rapidly. He developed a severe rash across his body, stopped eating, lost a significant amount of weight, and became lethargic to the point that he would not leave the couch. We brought him back to the clinic multiple times seeking answers. Each visit felt rushed, with staff and veterinarians moving quickly between patients in what appeared to be a very chaotic environment. While I believe the veterinarian we saw cared about our dog, I do not feel the severity of his condition was taken seriously. We left appointment after appointment without answers. As his condition worsened, we ultimately made the decision to seek care elsewhere. At our first visit with the new clinic, they took time to carefully review his medical history, listen to our concerns, and order comprehensive testing. Some results were available quickly; others followed within days. We were contacted frequently with updates throughout the process. He was diagnosed with E. coli, staph/MRSA, a urinary tract infection, a bacterial skin infection, and bilateral ear infections. Treatment was initiated immediately, but unfortunately, the infections had progressed too far. Our beloved Ranger passed away at just seven years old. It is incredibly painful to reflect on how long he suffered while we searched for answers. I cannot help but feel that more thorough evaluation and urgency earlier in his decline may have changed the outcome. I share this experience not out of anger, but in the hope that this clinic will re-evaluate the way it treats patients and families. I hope that no other animals lose their life due to lack of concern and urgency by Leander Vet Clinic. No family should feel rushed when their pet is clearly declining. They deserve time, attention, and comprehensive care.

Finding a good vet is extremely difficult. We moved to Leander in December of 2022 and I was dreading finding a new veterinary clinic, especially since one of our pups absolutely hates the vet and can sniff one out 10 miles away. We have been taking our dogs to LVC for almost 2 years now and I have absolutely zero complaints! 👍🏼 Appointment times are very much respected. The clinic is kept very clean and ran very efficiently. All the staff there are very gentle, sweet, genuinely caring, knowledgeable, and personable. Phones are answered and messaged returned promptly. They have a well running app that helps keep us organized at home. The front administration staff are always eager to give my pups positive attention upon arrival and exiting. The vet techs and doctors are so caring and understanding. I truly feel like each and every person in the clinic has our boys’ best interests at heart. Our two 6 year old rescued mutts have visited LVC for routine checkups, happy visits, nail trims, emergency situations, and even planned surgeries going under anesthesia. During the surgical experience, I was constantly updated along the way and all my questions were patiently answered. They worked efficiently and effectively to get the boys in and out, and even sent the boys’ medications home in a bag cutely labeled with their names 🥰 Leaving your animal at the vet can be extremely difficult, and as much as it is still difficult to do so here as anywhere else, I at least knew they were in good hands and that made it so much less stressful. If you are looking for a veterinary office that will cover all your pets’ needs, honestly look no further.
