I agree with another reviewer that this facility needs more reviews because it was a God send, even though our sweet girl didn't make it. We couldn't find anyone that could see her in FW in a reasonable time, and I knew things were moving rapidly. Our vet sent us to PetCure Oncology after trying to find availability at two others, but I quickly realized this was where we were meant to be. I was immediately impressed by Dr. Randhawa. He is so incredibly smart, dedicated, up to date on research, and everything you would want in a vet. His willingness to respond to questions and emails after hours is incredible, and prevented me from going insane. He would humor and listen to all of my questions and research things I found. I called the clinic daily, yes daily, and was always treated with true compassion and care. All of the staff are wonderful. Things did not go as planned for Penny, but it was not their fault. Dr. KR did everything he could, and was so honest with me, even telling me he would let me know when we had to give up, which he did. The day after she died in the ER next door, he even called to make sure he answered any questions I might have, including all the thoughts and things that might be haunting me. He even said not to hesitate if days, weeks go by, and I have more, to reach out. You don't find that type of compassion and care in medicine often. Penny's nasal tumor was just too aggressive, and she hid it all too well. DO NOT HESITATE FOR A SECOND TO BRING YOUR PET HERE. You will be in good hands. I told Dr. KR that I hope to never need to see him again, but if we ever find ourselves again with a dog with cancer, I would not hesitate for a second to return to his care. If you are reading this review, I'm guessing your pet is not in a good place, and I wish you the best! This clinic will do everything they can as quickly as they can, with the upmost care. Please meet with a vet and learn all the options. Be careful with all the Facebook sites and reddit posts. In remembrance of Penny Lane, pictures are attached.

A Baker

(I've edited this multiple times to try to please the AI overlords.) I would much rather review a pizza place than cancer treatment. That said, Dr. Randhawa and his small crew were very pleasant to work with. My comments will be mostly directly at Dr. Randhawa, but a lot applies to his team as well. My dog, Beef, is large and muzzled and...particular. They respected his boundaries and made him comfortable. As far as I know, he was a super good boy and didn't get upset with them. I feel like his treatment was taken seriously and individualized. I don't think he was some random number to be forgotten and I don't feel like the kindness and courtesy displayed by Dr. Randhawa or his team was put on. Nothing seemed like fake corporate nonsense. I feel like a lot of thought and preparation went into his treatment protocol, which must be known as The Beef Protocol from now on. I also feel like the treatment and expected degree and length of side effects were explained to me to the extent I wanted. Also, radiation isn't cheap for dogs or people, but this beast is my kid, so to the credit card it goes. I don't believe that I was being nickeled and dimed, and if anything, he tried to save us a little money by recommending cheaper pharmacies to get Beef's meds. Randhawa was very highly spoken of by every employee I mentioned his name around. These being employees of Thrive Emergency and Oncology/Specialists, some who do work with him in various ways. I mentioned how prompt he is about getting back to me on email and they all lit up and said he also got back to them very quickly, which made their lives so much easier. When other employees speak so enthusiastically about a veterinarian, that's a really good sign. Again, it wasn't required pleasantries; they absolutely love him there. I'd (hypothetically) probably let him babysit my dog and I don't even think he'd get eaten...probably not anyway. The point being that I don't let anyone watch my boy, but I do think my "picky" dog found his energy and behavior respectable and even sought out some pets, and that's very important to me. I'm really hoping this procedure works and that I get a lot more time with my grumpy burnt potato. If you have to go through the nightmare of all this, it helps to feel like the people you're paying to help you actually know what they're doing and care. Best of luck to anyone dealing with this. Enjoy photos of my dog in and out of his party gear, and a video of his spoiled chunky pot roast self eating his own salad. You're welcome.

I wish this place had more reviews and greater exposure because it deserves the world. I had a yellow lab who was diagnosed with cancer in her foot and we called around to only find 2, 3, and 5 week waits. I found this location and asked my vet, who advised against bringing her here as it was over an hour drive and they knew nothing about the clinic. Let me tell you.... make the drive and BRING YOUR PET HERE. My largest regret is not coming here sooner when we knew she had cancer. My dog went south pretty quickly and when I called, they got us in the very next day. Not only that, but the process was incredibly seamless and hospitable. From the front desk staff, to Linda our nurse to Dr. Christianson, I couldn't have asked for a better group. Though I hope this day never comes again for me, I would come here again in a heartbeat and will recommend them to every single pet owner I know. Don't wait on anyone else in the area. This is the best in DFW

Everything about this place is amazing. The doctors, the techs, the front desk - top notch. We had a clear plan from day 1 which put us at ease right away. They communicate quickly, and everyone is so nice and really has compassion for animals. My pup always enjoys her visits!
