We had the best visit of all time (and our cat is almost 17 so that’s saying a lot!!) - Dr. Frerotte (I think? can’t remember already!) was INCREDIBLE, so gentle and kind and so good with our very difficult cat, explained options so well, kept Oreo’s comfort and needs above all (consideration, planning, next steps), no unnecessary poking or prodding - she wanted the visit to be positive for her and it was! We trust completely that there is no profit or ulterior motive whatsoever and we’ve never been to à vet where it’s so clear that their priority is the cat and not the money - prices are also incredibly reasonable and transparent. We were even willing to pay / have blood drawn for a test but the vet thought it wasn’t necessary at the moment and didn’t want to put the cat through the blood draw, which was incredibly considerate and put us and Oreo at ease. She also was able to calm Oreo with a treat and handled her so gently, we were so impressed. Will be back and recommend highly! Also, Lindsey the tech was equally incredible

I truly enjoyed my visit with Dr. Palis and love her energy! She totally put me at ease. The office is beautiful, and it smells amazing, such a lovely aesthetic! Dr. Palis was incredibly helpful and informative, and I appreciated that she didn’t pressure me into buying anything I wasn't interested in, which had been my previous experience at another place near Center City called Liberty Vet Pets. My only critique is that I wish her very nice and helpful assistant had actually reviewed my intake form beforehand. I’m not sure why we have to complete it if it isn’t read by the staff, maybe it's for the patient's file. For example, I noted that my dog is a Corgi/JRT mix, yet his discharge summary listed him as a Jack Russell Terrier mix. His previous care at PAWS was also misspelled as “Pauls.” I was thinking, y'all actually have my records, which isn't much, so why isn't anybody reviewing them prior or during our visit? 🤦🏽‍♀️🤷🏽‍♀️I was asked all the same questions that were already on the form, which made me wonder why I had spent so much time filling out the new patient intake form, especially since the email said it was required. Overall, I’m very happy with the service, because all questions and concerns were addressed during the visit, and Maestro has received his Rx and Dr. Palis has provided some very helpful information regarding Maestro's diet and helpful recommendations. I just hope that moving forward, more attention to detail is given to avoid small but important hiccups, now that we have established care. I’m very pleased to continue Maestro’s care with Love City Vet, Dr. Palis was so wonderful, the receptionist and assistant were very helpful, and I am very happy to recommend them.

Best vet in the city. I took my 13 year old cat here and not only were the staff kind and warm, but efficient and extremely helpful, knowledgeable and patient. I felt so comforted by their reassurance and how they explained everything from the cost of the visit to everything else they examined with my kitty. They were gentle with her and my cat had the best experience at a vet in all of her 13 years. I will be coming here exclusively from now on. Thank you🙏🏼

Love City Vet goes above and beyond caring for your animal family members. Our cat has had a slew of issues and Dr. Wheeler and team have done an amazing job diagnosing and treating what is a somewhat rare allergy. She even texts us to check in months after our last visit to make sure everything is still going well. The billing process is extremely transparent too - you can see the costs of each intervention before you agree to a service and the vet will work with you on finding a treatment that fits your budget.

Wow… I cannot give higher praise for our experience here yesterday! We were visiting Philly and leaving on our trip to Oaxaca and despite Mexico not needing a health certificate, Aeromexico did… We had to cancel and reschedule our flight to the next day.., they not only got us in the same day , did an exam, communicate with our vets in WA and got us our health certificate so we could fly out the next morning…they treated us with compassion and kindness and professionalism… I had to offer a hug in appreciation. 5 star treatment!
