We have always had excellent service at WVVH - the vets are all so compassionate, as are the rest of the staff. It doesn't matter what we come in for. Additionally, they actually charge on par / less than many other vets that we've taken Lumi to. Our little girl is so well taken care of here and we continue to come back even after moving to Brooklyn. Huge thank you to Dr. Gi and Dr. Denton and the rest of the team for always being so good with Lumi!

WVVH is great. Professional, clean, thorough, compassionate, very convenient, reasonably priced and communicative. We look forward to bringing Shakes the Cat to WVVH whenever hes under the weather! Meds are pricey but this is a vet industry pharma thing, not their fault.

Took our 8 1/2 year-old former feral, toothless cat to urgent care. The doctor didn’t find anything in her physical exam. She told us the alternatives for testing him. When we asked her what she would do and she recommended blood tests to see if she could rule out diagnoses. We agreed and within 15 months minutes she was back with the results. The tests were normal, so she suggested two treatments, which were administered immediately. We brought him home, and that evening, we got a call from one of the vet techs to find out how he was doing. Our dealings with West Village have generally been very good. This time was no different. From the receptionists through the vet techs to the vet herself, we felt well taken care of. As for the cat, he’s back to his old self, which means he’s into everything (more than most cats; and we have had a lot of cats), and chasing his buddy (we have 5 cats; one of them is his usual playmate) around the apartment. Thank you, Dr. Hildebrand and the rest of the crew!

Dr. Denton is so incredible. I brought in my yorkie for his cough and I was scared because he hadn’t been checked in a while, didn’t have any paperwork anymore, is TERRIFIED of vets, and I had no idea what was going on with him. Really not great, but Dr. Denton took the time to thoroughly check (even double check) everything possible, go through every option, and explain literally everything to me so clearly without me even having to ask. Honestly I wish MY doctor was more like that. You can tell everyone here really cares about you and your dog and is really there to help. Even the Vet tech? Assistant? (Sorry I am uneducated) and the reception was super sweet. They also gave me a paper explaining everything they found in the visit. Just an awesome place super clean and calm, not anything like the scary waiting rooms with 10 yelping dogs I’m used to. Instead they have a coffee machine :) Go here, I hope the entire staff wins the lottery, vets deserve so much in life, etc

Loved everyone! The doctor and staff were absolutely fantastic with my extra large dogs. Could not ask for better animal care delivered so nicely to owners and animals. Cannot say enough nice things about the care for animals and their humans!
