I’ve been coming to Heart of Chelsea Veterinary Group – Eldridge Street for over 8 years with my dog Bailey, and I honestly couldn’t be happier with the care we’ve always received. From the moment we walk in, the whole team is welcoming, patient, and genuinely caring. They take the time to explain everything clearly and make sure Bailey feels comfortable and safe throughout every visit — which means a lot to me as a pet owner. A very special thank you to Skylar for being so kind, attentive, and helpful, and to the amazing veterinarians at this location for their professionalism and compassion. You can really tell they love what they do and truly care about the animals they treat. If you’re looking for a veterinary clinic that treats your pet like family, I highly recommend this location. Bailey and I are very grateful!

If only Dr Chu and the entire team at Heart of Chelsea Lower East Side could be MY healthcare provider!!!! The best in NYC!!! They are compassionate and committed to their animal patients and give unconditional support to parents like me who just want the absolute best for their pups. Koko, my 8 year old Shih Tzu, has been under Dr Chu’s expert care since day one … and I couldn’t imagine not having Dr Chu in our lives. Anytime Koko has needed a specialist, she has gone above and beyond to find the perfect fit for us. She is endlessly knowledgeable and always goes the extra mile. We’re so lucky!!! Shout out to the entire team … especially Skylar … who Koko showered with extra kisses on our last visit !!! We love heart of Chelsea lower east side!!! Dr. Fracapane and Vet Tech Skyler are so wonderful with my elderly rescue cat Genghis. They always explain things super clearly and care a lot about my cat’s experience and try to keep him from getting too stressed. I trust they’re always providing me with the best options and guidance. Years ago Dr. Fracapane helped our cat with major oral surgery and he improved dramatically both in disposition and comfort in a matter of days after recovering. I can’t imagine going to anywhere else besides Heart of Chelsea.

I wanted to leave a review a long time ago but still grieving with the lost of a family dog Lola. This Veterinary is the best in the Lower East Side. Heart warming staff. Very honest Veterinarian. This place will not take your money. They were straightforward and honest. A pet becomes family, they are living life no matter the species and as pet owners we do anything to save our pet under distress. Instead of taking my money the Veterinarian was honest that surgery will not be recommended. If you want honesty this is the place to go. They are very knowledgeable.
