Unfortunately for me I am writing this from the ER, where I am currently being cared for by Jake, PA Colin Nguyen, Victoria, and Dr. Jonathan Ameli the rest of the incredible team due to severe pain. They are making me feel comfortable and calm while they work to figure out what’s going on. They’ve listened to me and treat me with kindness and compassion. I was here just a week ago, unfortunately for me, and once again, the level of care was outstanding.I was admitted thento the hospital, where my nurse, Eva Pappa, was absolutely exceptional. She was attentive, compassionate, and incredibly responsive which made me feel supported. The entire staff demonstrates kindness, competence, and thoroughness. They’ve run all the necessary tests to get to the bottom of my pain and are attentive to my needs. They know what they’re doing and they genuinely care about the patients. This hospital has a great team that has the knowledge to treat you and the empathy and heart to care for you. 10/10 recommend.

It was my first time going to the ER at tufts, and they listened to my concerns about my pelvic pain symptoms and such. I was being seen by Eliana and she did a fantastic job! She understood my fear of getting IV’s and such (past bad experiences) but the fact that she did it so quick before I could even comprehend that she even did it was amazing. She was very patient with me and helped calm my nerves and such. Give her a raise please! 🙏

My experience at TUFTS was 5 star. Period! I was traveling in Boston when I experienced an emergency that landed me in the ER. I almost didn’t go to TUFTS because of the review/star rating for the emergency department on Google… and I’m so glad that I ultimately didn’t let the ratings influence my decision to go. From triage to discharge I was treated kindly, patiently, warmly and competently. Mark, my nurse and Dr. Rice, my attending physician were amazing. Mark was attentive to my immediate needs as soon I was placed in the room and he was consistent with checking in to make sure I was okay. Dr. Rice was clear, communicative, gentle and most importantly, KIND. I go to ERs more than I’d like to and sadly I do know what it’s like to be treated poorly at one. Traveling alone and being stuck at the ER in a lot of pain is really scary and isolating. Both Dr. Rice & Mark made the experience as comforting and warm as possible. It really actually moved me to be treated kindly by every single person I came into contact with. That is such a rare experience. Thank you to all staff techs and doctors! A seriously great emergency department.

Where if you DONT do drugs you get treated like an addict. As you consistently treat me as an addict when i have over 25 years of medical history on file that i NEVER DID HARD DRUGS. Your lack of care and profiling me has now let me on the brink of death

I went in for extreme pain & throwing up for 8+ hours, told them I thought it was my gallbladder. They sent me home within 2 hrs saying I was fine and it was “weed gummies” and then I had to get emergency surgery (different much better hospital) because I was at the point where 4 organs were failing because of MY GALLBLADDER. Would never recommend this place for anyone who wants to live
