Dr Cleland is my favorite vet ever. He actually took the time to REALLY listen to me. I felt seen, heard, and respected. I placed a tremendous amount of trust in him to do surgery on my 17yr old cat as well as a tremendous amount of pressure and he did not fail me. I’m incredibly grateful. Going to the vet is normally very stressful for me and it’s a big relief to have found a vet I can trust. Update: A puppy recently came into my life and I went here for her vaccinations. They have been really wonderful and remember Bijou every time. I am grateful to have a vet close by that I feel good about going to.

VCA College Park Animal Hospital truly "sets the standard for quality veterinary care”. I wanted to take a moment to express my deepest gratitude for the extraordinary kindness, compassion, and professionalism shown to me following the unexpected loss of my sweet baby, Timber on November 6. 2025. From the initial call with Tiffany, who accommodated me on the schedule, to being warmly welcomed at the front entrance by Domenica, who quickly guided me to a private room, where I was met immediately by Katrina, the Office Manager, who was truly a blessing and helped me navigate one of the hardest moments of my life with comfort and ease. Lastly, when it came time for Timber's euthanasia, Dr. Bush the attending Veterinarian approached the process with gentleness, giving me peace knowing my baby was in loving hands. A few days later, I was deeply touched to receive a handwritten sympathy card signed by the entire VCA (College Park) team. That thoughtful gesture spoke volumes about the heart behind the mission of such an amazing organization. Even in the midst of my grief, I am still in "awe" of the level of compassion and grace the entire team demonstrated. The customer service was impeccable from start to finish, and my heart is full of appreciation of the ENTIRE experience. Thank you VCA College Park Animal Hospital from the bottom of my heart. Great vets, great concierge. VERY expensive. VCA is owned by Mars (yes, the big candy company) so it's unsurprising how corporate it is...but I trust the vets. The new building is clean and beautiful.

This place is amazing like others have said! Yesterday was my kittens’ 1st vet visit and I found a 1st free exam coupon online which really helped. It was more than a pleasure working with Thomas and Dr. Bush!!! They broke everything down and really worked with me to make sure my kittens got what they needed with what I was able to afford. This will definitely be my go-to from now on. Thank you! 😊
