I will be forever greatful for everyone here during my Billy's final moments. From the receptionist to the technician, especially the doctor. They made Billy always feel like he was #1 until his last breath. I truly appreciate them. Recently we had issues with our other best friend Buddy, because of Hectors understanding and compassion he was able to get us in right away to make sure our Buddy was not in pain any longer. Unfortunately our Buddy passed away before we could make it. Thank you to everyone in this clinic for their love for our family.

Very disappointing experience. Another VCA clinic referred me to this location because they had run out of my cat’s prescription food. I tried calling ahead multiple times but no one answered, so I drove 30 minutes to pick it up. When I arrived, I was told they wouldn’t sell it to me because I’m not a client of that specific location, even though I was sent there by another VCA clinic. To make matters worse, Hector at the front desk was extremely rude and dismissive. It’s frustrating to waste that much time and gas when you’re just trying to make sure your pet has food. A little communication or basic customer service would have prevented this entire situation

Wow has this place gone downhill. I've brought my 2 dogs here since adopting them 11 years ago. Over the past 3 years we've seen a reluctance from staff to do anything unless we schedule a battery of tests and labs, saying they can't do anything without them. I end up speaking to a vet every time and lo and behold, turns out I don't need bloodwork and fecal tests to put an order in for flea medication. Today was the last straw. Made an appointment 3 weeks ago for a routine exam, and upon arrival was told they cancelled my appointment because I didn't confirm. I explained that I didn't get anything from them and in my decade of going I've never had an issue. The male receptionist (who I'm convinced doesn't care about customers or animals since most of the issues I've had come from his refusals to even ask the vet or provide basic customer service) didn't even try to see if there's anything they can do, provide me with the next appointment, or offer to even look into at least administering the vaccines (which is walk in by the way). I told him we would be finding a new vet, to which he said "okay." I should have started looking elsewhere when I heard $40 for nail trimmings. I always knew this place was a chain, but didn't mind as long as the care my dogs got was good. But why would I go back there when they do the bare minimum for my dogs, or don't care about me as a customer. Edited For Response: I was understanding of the prescription when it was explained to me. I switched to it based on recommendations from the doctor even though it required additional steps like labs to get. I was prescribed the medication anyways after speaking to a vet directly. They returned my phone call and after asking me a few questions and pointing out that the labs weren't old enough to worry about, and since my dogs had been on it for so long, they felt comfortable enough to prescribe it without labs in that instance. That's besides the point however. The gentleman I spoke to at the time was extremely judgmental of the fact that it had been slightly over a year since I had brought my dogs in. I explained to him that I was planning on bringing them in and it had only been less 2 months past the yearly exam we missed. Family matters had kept me from coming in and I didn't want my dogs to go without the medication. The reason I even spoke to a vet was because of the way I was dealt with on the phone in the first place, and I kept calling and asking for a callback, which I got more than a week later. I was reluctant to even come back. I've had lab work done regularly on my dogs. I've had fecal tests done as recommended. I've followed the advice of the vets thoroughly with supplements, diet, medications, etc. I've even brought my dogs in simply because they're lethargic. I don't want to hear something like "oh wow it looks like its been over a year since you brought in your dogs for labs and bloodwork, they should have been in 2 months ago." The tone was condescending and there was no understanding when I explained the situation. Also, if an appointment is made, it should be honored. I explained that because I got a new phone its possible I missed a request to confirm. But I don't know how I didn't get multiple texts or any voicemails. And my wife also didn't receive anything, as a secondary contact. I surely didn't get anything saying my appointment was cancelled either, because I brought both my dogs, who are terrified of being at the vet in the first place, in on time as usual, and traumatized them for no reason. I love my dogs, they're family to me. I've taken care of their needs since the day they came home with me. I spend more on their medical insurance than my own at this point. I'm relaying my personal experience. I don't have a complaints of the care my dogs did receive. While I appreciate your response, and I could see you took the time to look into my concern with my dogs prescription as you've mentioned it on here, I'm moving on because of the way I was talked to multiple times over the past 2 years.

VCA ANIMAL MEDICAL CENTER has carring veterinarians with an excellent support staff. The reception area is colorful. APPOINTMENTS ARE NECESSARY. VCA Animal Medical Center has cared for our pets for over 40 years. When your pet is injured or ill the veterinarian, not an assistant, calls the next day to learn how your pet has responded to treatment. The AMC also includes boarding and grooming. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. They take special care of older pets. Our dog Tanner, a Caviler mix, was adopted from a rescue shelter. She is nineteen, and has been fed vegetarian meals for eighteen years, after an allergy to animal protein was discovered by our long-term veterinarian, Dr. Piltch. STUFF: The Animal Medial Center maintains a pet pharmacy. Free ADA compatible parking in front of their office. Wheelchair accessible including a bathroom, which is located on the west end of the reception area.

The staff here are very accommodating for our dog who is a psychopath at the vet. Since it's part of VCA their online system is fairly useful and integrated with the system. Overall though I would choose this location since they've always been kind to us.
