Modern Animal Studio City has truly been an answered prayer for our little pack of pups. We’ve been there so often (senior pets get sick often) that it feels like the team are people we know and distant family lol. So seriously, THANK YOU. Bella at the front desk is the absolute best. She is always so kind, calm, and welcoming, even during the most stressful visits. Practice Manager Ariel took the time to give me a tour of the space and was so loving and generous with her time. Thank you, Ariel! Every single vet tech, such as Casey, have taken care of us like our dogs are the most important celebrity dogs. Thank you for treating our babies with so much love, both us the parents and our pups feel the loving energy you carry every time. Every vet we’ve seen has been incredible. Dr. Phan, Dr. Patty when she was there, and Dr. Van Zant have all been heroes to us. Please forgive me if I am forgetting any names. We’ve had some really close calls with one of my pups (Simba) and this team has gone above and beyond every single time. Their compassion, patience, and genuine care mean more to my husband and I than we could ever put into words. Everything from the app to the in person appointments has been such a comforting, seamless experience. We are so deeply grateful to have this team caring for our babies. Best Vet clinic in LA! I tried several clinics before finding Modern Animal and really appreciate their care and attention to detail. I had 1 cat and 3 dogs (the cat has recently passed) and all my pets have been in their care for 3+ years. When my cat passed, Modern Animal supported me through the whole process and even followed up with a card and flowers. I have never encountered such empathy from my vet before. One of my dogs has a difficult case of IBD and his doctor at Modern Animal was able to help me identify this and also point me to a specialist that eventually healed my dog. I trust them with the life of my pets and highly recommend them to anyone looking for a qualified and caring vet.

They care more about making money than helping your pet. I took my Doberman who had a cough to them for a chest x ray. I literally told the doctor I think my dog has pneumonia. After taking the chest x ray the doctor and radiologist both said my dog had no fluid showing in his lungs and that they see his heart is enlarged and to book tests with a cardiologist. they sent us home. 24 hours later my dog was in critical condition...I took him to the emergency where they took x rays again which showed extremely severe pneumonia, no enlarged heart but instead collapsed lung tissue and so much fluid in his lungs that he turned septic...My dog passed away. I went back to look at the x rays they sent me and it is very clear there was fluid showing in his chest. I called to ask for at least a refund on the x ray and our visit since my dog ended up passing away from pneumonia which they claimed he did not have...his heart was also never enlarged. Modern Animal refused to refund me and continued to lie to me about his x rays. The least they could have done is refund me for my visit and the x rays for giving me false information about my dog who passed away 24 hours later... They couldn't even do that. I do not recommend modern animal for your pet ever. they care more about making money then telling the truth and helping your pet. I lost my best friend and they covered up their mistakes and continued to lie to me and didn’t even help me out with the bill.

This is the first time my boy has been completely relaxed in a vet office. He was wagging his tail the entire visit and everyone was so nice to greet him! I love that Dr. Diaz listens without interrupting, explains everything clearly, and pauses several times to ask if you have questions. Every staff member we interacted with was friendly and welcoming. We were given a tour of the entire facility at the end of our visit, which made us feel even more comfortable bringing our boy back here. Definitely recommend giving them a visit!
