We took our family cat Flea here to get treated for a sudden bleeding in her eye a few months back. After taking her to our neighborbood vet and being told we might have to consider an invasive eye procedure, things were seeming bleak for our little cat's vision. However, being that their facility was not fully equipped for eye specialty care, the doctor recommended taking her to see an ophthalmologist for a second opinion. Thankfully, once we found MASH Outpatient Hospital, our experience helping Flea with her recovery was exceptional. They were able to quickly schedule her in and with their specialty equipment, were able to give us a clear understanding of her eye condition. Dr. Stonex was thorough in explaining that Flea has a congenital eye condition that puts her at risk of glaucoma and that she would only need prescription eye drops to recover from the bleeding. With each exam, Dr. Stonex and the MASH team handled Flea with gentleness and care. My only frustration throughout my whole experience at MASH was when Flea had to get her eyes dilated. The doctor did explain that the dilation medicine would leave a bad taste in Flea's mouth however, I felt underprepared for the reaction she had and the amount of cleanup there would be from her salivating. I would have appreciated the extra thoughtfulness in providing us with some paper towels or wipes to keep her clean however, it might've been that Flea only started salivating excessively only once we left. As of now, Flea has returned to her stable condition and overall, we are very thankful for the exceptional service they provided us with and for getting Flea back to her normal self!

We arrived on time and were greeted by friendly staff. Shortly after arrival a tech came to us and informed me that my dog would be taken from me to be examined and I would meet with the doctor after. A while later I was taken into a cramped dirty room to wait. Because we were referred to Dr. Ganz I was looking forward to meeting her and was really taken aback by how aggressively she came into the room and skipped any pleasantries. She immediately told me my dog was miserable and would repeat that several times in the first few minutes. It felt very accusatory and insinuated that I wasn't caring for the dog even though he gets very regular care from our vet and we immediately made the dermatology appt when it was suggested. Of course he's miserable, you've taken him away from his favorite person in a place he's never been, you're poking and proding him, and obviously he's sick that's why we're here. She wasn't aware of any of his medical history even though I had to complete 2 different patient forms in advance of the appt stating his medical history and prescriptions. In addition, I had our vet send full medical records the day I made the appt (I was copied on the email), more than a week prior to this conversation. Nothing had been reviewed. After a long and intense interrogation of questions, when she started to understand the true picture of his health and care, she finally seemed to soften a bit realizing the complexity of his medical needs. I was impressed by her knowledge and experience and I appreciated that she had real answers to my concerns around immuno-suppresant medications often recommended for severe dog allergies. The appt ended abruptly and I was told to wait downstairs. I waited another 20 minutes for a tech who brought me a bill which had charges I had not reviewed or agreed to before testing was done. It definitely had tests I don't feel were necessary. I was told to sign and pay before my dog would be returned to me. I have no idea where he was kept, who had access or what was done to him. I paid and waited another 10 minutes to be reunited with him. There was what looked like blood on the lobby floor.

Love the vets and techs, they really care for your pet and take time to answer your questions. Labs are more affordable anywhere else. Parking is limited but I have never had an issue. I still take my baby here!

No one wants to hear that their pet needs a major procedure done. My dog luna needed extensive periodontic surgery. I was terrified. They texted me during surgery to let me know she was doing great while under. Then when she was finished. I wish I didn't need their services, but I'm glad they were there. It is an expensive place, no doubt, but my dog is worth it. I'm glad I chose them after doing research.

Very nice! I took my mother's cat to the dentist and instantly felt welcomed. When I got to the room, Beloved's name was written on the whiteboard. All the employees were extremely kind and I received all the information from the dentist necessary to provide the best care for Beloved. The cost was expensive ($225 consultation), but I felt like it was worth it for the excellent care and information provided. Thank you all so much!
